Nsk airport promises free wifi by June

06.05.12

Nsk airport Tolmachevo has launched today wifi in all its premises in test mode and promises to have it fully working by June. Good God what a great news. We've been like in stone age without it comparing to Moscow airports.

Nordic countries come in couples? Norwegian visa centre also opens

02.05.12

On 10th of May Norwegian visa centre opens in Nsk, which is just about two weeks after Sweden did the same. Great news anyway as there are more opportunities to travel.

Swedish visa centre to open in Nsk

19.04.12

Swedish visa centre is planned to open on 26th of April in Nsk. Also it is reported that the plans are there to establish direct flight connecting Nsk and Stockholm. Very interesting development, ok we can fly direct to Turket and Thailand which is great for beach time, but sometimes you wonder what else is there in the world and Sweden seems to be interesting place to go.

TGI Friday opened in Aura mall

16.04.12

We really love this chain, for their impeccable love for fun and great food. They opened their first restaurant in Novosibirsk at the Aura mall, so it is a nice reason to pay another visit to the place.

McDonald's is about to enter

21.03.12

McDonald's vice-president for Russia Victor Eidemiller announced that the company is planning to set up logistical centre in Novosibirsk which will be a basis for the expansion of the company's chain to Siberia. Well, well. We know that typical investor's rule that if there is McDonald's there it is ok to invest, but still there is some uneasiness about how healthy it will be for our folks. We will see.

And yes they did it - Istanbul flights

18.03.12

True to their word, Turkish Airlines have run the first flight to Istanbul on 15th of March. Just to reiterate why it is good news. First, it is interesting tourist destination in itself. Second, Read more

Direct flights to Istanbul

22.12.11

Turkish airlines has run today a test flight to Nsk and is planning to run three flights a week direct route to Istanbul. While we have some doubts about feasibility of this (honestly most Russians are interested in sea resorts of Turkey, and there are already direct charters), it is still a great news about developing possible connections in visa-free country, which opens a lot of new destinations.

Really fast mobile internet is here?

21.12.11

Yota, Russian mobile internet operator, announced the launch of its Nsk network, promising blazing fast internet for mobile users. LTE technology is first time employed in Nsk with this new development, and we really hope this will mean cheaper and faster intertnet for everyone.

Nsk airport sets new highs since Soviet times

19.12.11

Amazing but it is first time Nsk airport reports the same passenger throughput they had only in Soviet times before, in 1991 exactly, when it was the last sunshine of Soviet passenger aviation before its total collapse. So we're back to Soviet times, eh?

TGI Friday opens early next year in Nsk

31.10.11

One of the most brilliant bar chains, TGI Friday, is opening early next year in Aura shopping mall. We absolutely love it and welcome the notion. Time to paint up our lives a bit.

You came to Novosibirsk and realised that not so many people speak English here, and even those pretending that they do are not that good.
Or you might suddenly realise that your translator you hired is just some school-teacher of stone age and very literature-like vocabulary who can't even translate word 'bollocks' which is flying at the meetings all too often.
This is where our Translation service comes handy. We charge you with 2 cents per word of written translation, which makes normal A4, with Times font and 12 font size costing about 10-12 dollars to translate, depends on density of text and empty spaces. We can also help you with interpreting (sequential, not simultaneous) and this would be 25 dollars per hour.
